aimed atintensifying cooperation between Croatian and French scientists andpreparing joint quality scientific projects within the framework of EUresearch and development programmes.
ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Representatives of the Zagreb-based Rudjer
Boskovic Institute and the French Ambassador to Croatia, Francois Saint-Paul,
on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at intensifying
cooperation between Croatian and French scientists and preparing joint quality
scientific projects within the framework of EU research and development
programmes. Under the memorandum, three prominent French scientist
will visit the Rudjer Boskovic Institute and hold lectures and workshops, while
their travel expenses will be covered by the French Embassy in Zagreb.
The memorandum was signed by the head of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute
Mladen Zinic and French Ambassador Saint-Paul. Zinic and Saint-Paul said the
cooperation between French and Croatian scientists would help the process of
Croatia's integration with EU scientific programmes.
