The event, organised by the Croatian Chamber of the Economy, pooled representatives of European and Croatian professional fish breeders and presidents of fishermen associations from Greece, France, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Croatia.
The meeting will end on 9 October with the adoption of conclusions.
The FEAP is currently composed of 31 national aquaculture producer associations from 22 European countries. Its main role is to provide a forum for the member associations to be able to establish common policies on questions relating to the production and the commercialisation of aquaculture species that are reared in Europe.
