Speaking of the party's activities in the past term, Tankovic said that SDAH had become a parliamentary party and scored good results in local elections.
He attached particular importance to his party's agreement with the government of Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, saying that it would help to finally resolve the problem of a large number of Bosniaks who have not yet been issued a Croatian citizenship certificate.
Tankovic criticised SDAH branches in certain areas for lack of cooperation with party members and sympathisers.
The convention was attended, among others, by delegates of the Croatian President and the Prime Minister, representatives of Croatian parliamentary parties, and a delegation of the SDA of Bosnia-Herzegovina led by party president Sulejman Tihic, who all congratulated Tankovic on being re-elected.
