The first issue of the weekly will be published in 30,000 copies.
The director of the publishing house, Zeljko Vukelic, and the chief editor of the newspaper, Miodrag Sajatovic, told a news conference last week that up to 7.5 million kuna would be invested in this project in the next two years.
The weekly will consist of 100 colour pages and the editorial board currently includes a score of journalists and editors.
Commenting on the editorial policy, Sajatovic said the weekly would focus on globalisation and Croatia's efforts to enter the European Union with an emphasis on economic and business policies in the country.
A few days before the publishing of the first issue of the new business weekly, it will be also available online (www.liderpress.hr).
