SARAJEVO, Oct 1 (Hina) - The Office of the High Representative and
the European Commission Delegation in Bosnia-Herzegovina have rejected a
proposal for police reform put forward by the Bosnian Serb government. The Office of High Representative Paddy Ashdown said in a statement on
Saturday that the document bearing the signature of Republika Srpska Prime
Minister Pero Bukejlovic did not satisfy the principles on which the European
Commission insists.
We call on the Republika Srpska authorities to put forward a new
proposal that fulfils those principles, the statement said.
