ROVINJ, Sept 26 (Hina) - Outgoing Norwegian Ambassador to Croatia
Knut Toraasen in the northern Adriatic town of Rovinj on Monday marked the
start of construction works on the regional centre for psycho-social
rehabilitation and reintegration of victims "Duga" The project,
initiated by the Croatian Association of Mine Victims in cooperation with the
Crisis Centre in 2001, is worth EUR700,000.
The centre, that will be able to accommodate 40 people, will primarily
be intended for mine victims from Croatia and the entire region while ten
percent of the users will be mine victims from the world.
It is expected to be opened in the summer of 2006.
