LJUBLJANA, Sept 5 (Hina) - Slovene President Janez Drnovsek does
not attach big importance to the latest tensions with Croatia and believes the
latest events are typical of this time of year. He visited two
Slovene municipalities close to the Croatian border on Monday, Podcetrtek and
Smarje Pri Jelsah, where a reported asked for a comment on recent incidents in
the northern Adriatic bay of Savudrija, known also as bay of Piran.
Drnovsek said the incidents were "typical August disputes" and that
they were not expected to affect good neighbourly relations.
