ZAGREB, Aug 29 (Hina) - The Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) on
Monday annulled a recently published invitation for bids for the sale of the
"Sladorana" sugar plant from Zupanja, because the original invitation was not
in line with a relevant government decision, HFP Management Board chairman
Damir Polancec said. The invitation for bids was annulled because it
envisaged a higher price and a shorter deadline for the submission of bids
than those envisaged by the existing government decision, Polancec told
reporters at the end of a session of the Management Board session.
The HFP will draw up a new invitation for bids in two weeks, after
which the document will be forwarded to the government, Polancec said.
