The invitations have been sent to eight addresses in Croatia and abroad, and the selection is expected to be done until late August, Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polancec, who is the chairman of the commission, said on Thursday.
The duty of the consultant is to evaluate the company's value, prepare the invitation for bids for privatisation and review models of possible continuation of the privatisation of INA, Polancec said.
He recalled that the New York Stock Exchange had showed interest in listing INA's shares into its quotations.
The Ivo Sanader cabinet has recently decided to offer 15 percent of INA's share on the market in the second stage of the company's privatisation.
