SARAJEVO, Aug 5 (Hina) - The press in Sarajevo on Friday described the Zagreb meeting between Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and his Bosnian counterpart Adnan Terzic as successful despite problems caused by the Bosnian Serb side which prevented the signing of a property-rights relations between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The Dnevni Avaz daily with the highest circulation quoted Terzic, the Bosnian ministerial council's chairman, as saying that his meeting with Sanader in Zagreb on Thursday could have been historic if the two sides had initialled the property-rights relation agreements, beside the initialled agreement on dual citizenship.

'Oslobodjenje', another daily based in Sarajevo, reported that although there were some political 'sparks' preceding their meeting in Zagreb, Sanader and Terzic tried very much to show that much had been done during their talks.

The daily recalls that Sanader confirmed that the Croatian side was very interested in solving the status if the southern Croatian seaport of Ploce as soon as possible.

The Banja Luka-based 'Nezavisne Novine' reported that the conclusion of the dual citizenship agreement was the most important achievement of yesterday's meeting, and also reminded that the Bosnian Serb side opposed the conclusion of the property-rights relation deal.

Only the 'Glas Srpske', a paper which is the mouthpiece of the local Serb authorities carried a negatively-toned report on the Sanader-Terzic meeting.
