BELGRADE, Aug 4 (Hina) - About 300 family members of people gone missing in Croatia's 1995 Operation Storm rallied in front of the Croatian Embassy in Belgrade on Thursday to hand representatives of Croatia a list with the names of 2,627 Serbs gone missing in Croatia from 1991 to 1995, but nobody from the Embassy came out to collect the list.

An envelope with the list was left on the front door of the Embassy building.

The president of the Association of Missing Persons' Families, Cedomir Maric, told reporters the list was a message to the Croatian people to say that 2,627 families did not have graves at which to lay flowers and light candles.

Knez Mihailo Street, where the Croatian Embassy is located, was under strong police surveillance and numerous police and gendarmes guarded the rally.

The patriarch of the Serb Orthodox Church, Pavle, held a memorial service at St. Mark's church at noon for the victims of Operation Storm.
