Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh tourists need no visa to visit Croatia this summer

ZAGREB, March 10 (Hina) - In a bid to facilitate the arrival of foreign tourists this summer, the Croatian government on Thursday decided to temporarily annul visa requirements for Russians, Ukrainians and Kazakhs who will visit Croatia from 1 April to 31 October this year.

Holders of Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakh passports will need no visa if they are staying in Croatia up to 90 days.

The government also decided to allow foreigners with a valid Schengen visa, issued by any Schengen zone country, to enter Croatia with no visas from 1 April to 31 October this year.

Citizens of India and China visiting Croatia in groups and with valid Schengen visas can also enter Croatia in the said period visa-free. This also applies to citizens of Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates who visit Croatia as tourists in the said period.

Also today, the Croatian government greenlighted the conclusion of ten-year sales contracts for the delivery of timber managed by the Hrvatske Sume (Croatian Forestry) company.
