The purpose of the conference is to improve the knowledge about the results achieved in consumer protection and encourage the exchange of experience, Ministry State Secretary Miroslav Rozman said, adding that Croatia's legislation in this field is fully adjusted to the EU standards.
A representative of the European Union's Delegation to Croatia, Jean-Marie Moreau, said that the single European market was one of the greatest achievements of the EU and a prerequisite for the prosperity of EU citizens.
In attendance are experts of the BEUC, the European Consumers’ Organisation with a membership of 44 well respected, independent national consumer organisations from 31 European countries.
