The agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of evasion of payment of income and property taxes was signed by Croatia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Moldova, Zeljko Kupresak, and Moldovan Finance Minister Zinaida Greciani.
The agreement on mutual assistance in customs matters was signed by Kupresak and Moldova's Customs Director General, Nikolai Vilcu.
The agreements were signed following talks between Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin and Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, who arrived in Kishinev on Monday for a two-day official visit.
