Journalists will still be obligated to get accreditation cards, and as soon as the rule book is adopted the Sabor Secretary will have to issue new accreditation cards within 30 days for reporters interested in covering the work of Croatian parliamentarians.
The Sabor Secretary will also issue accreditation cards to foreign reporters after receiving an opinion from the Foreign Ministry. So far, foreign journalists have needed only the accreditation forms from the Ministry.
The draft rule book was today in the first reading. After it passes the second reading, the rule book will be adopted, which is is very likely to happen during the ongoing 14th session.
