counties without cooperationwith the SDSS.
KARLOVAC, May 12 (Hina) - The vice president of the Independent
Democratic Serb Party (SDSS), Milorad Pupovac, said in Karlovac on Wednesday
the formation of the authorities after Sunday's local elections would not be
possible in six counties without cooperation with the SDSS. Speaking
at the presentation of the SDSS slate for the Karlovac Town Council, he said
cooperation with the party would be necessary to form the government in
Sibenik-Knin, Sisak-Moslavina, Karlovac, Lika-Senj, Osijek-Baranja, and
Vukovar-Srijem counties.
Pupovac said that after this weekend's elections, the SDSS candidates
should contribute to the development of political democracy in Croatia "so that
nobody will be able to scare Croatia with Serbs and... so that nobody will be
entitled to scare Serbs in Croatia".
