ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP), Anto Djapic, told a news conference on Tuesday that his party was shocked at "mild reaction of Croatian officials to the amended indictment against generals Mladen Markac and Ivan Cermak, which violated international law, as well as the decisions of the Security County which recognised the UNPA zones as occupied parts of the Republic of Croatia".

He added that at the session of the Croatian Parliament scheduled for May 18 he would request a debate and ask that deputies take a stand on these, as he said, inappropriate requests of the ICTY Prosecutor's Office.

The Government must make a turnabout in relations with the Hague Tribunal, Djapic said and added that expanding the indictment was contrary to the Constitution and the Declaration on the Homeland War.

Asked whether he would request an extraordinary parliamentary session, Djapic said: "Luckily, the parliamentary session is scheduled for May 18, which is in several days. We'll see if our request will be included in the ageda."
