During her day-long visit to Buenos Aires on Sunday, Grabar-Kitarovic met the Honorary Consuls to Rosario and Tucuman, Lucija Zizic and Catalina Lonac, and the Honorary Consul to Montevideo, Eduard Antonic.
The minister told the representatives of the Croatian community in Buenos Aires she was pleased to be able to celebrate in Argentina the 10th anniversary of the Croatian army and police operation "Flash".
Grabar-Kitarovic underlined the importance of the Croatian community in Argentina and thanked them for their assistance to Croatia when it was most necessary.
About 250,000 people of Croatian descent live in Argentina, mainly in the capital, Buenos Aires, and are very sensitive to all important issues concerning Croatia, the statement said.
