As part of the exercise, the German ships are visiting 15 ports in 13 European countries in the North Sea, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
This is the biggest visit by German ships to Croatia, the aim of which is to establish contact with the Croatian Navy (HRM).
The ships' commanders, who were accompanied by German Ambassador to Croatia A.R. Staks, were received by the HRM commander, Rear Admiral Zdravko Kardum, as well as city and county officials.
Four HRM cadets will take part in the exercise by sailing aboard Sachsen to Varna, Bulgaria.
The four ships have state-of-the-art equipment and 520-strong crews.
