In a brief statement to the press following the signing ceremony, Skare Ozbolt said that the purpose of the memorandum was to strengthen cooperation and promote good relations between the two countries in the area of the judiciary.
Skare Ozbolt said that she and Sturm, who arrived in Zagreb on Thursday, had discussed numerous topics of interest to Croatia and Slovenia.
The topics included land-book reform and creation of a data base containing land-related data, adjustment of legislation to the EU acquis communautaire, EU technical assistance projects, training of judicial officers and management of the prison system, and bilateral agreements on the purchase of property and property-related issues between the two countries.
Sturm said he hoped the cooperation would continue to be as effective as it had been so far.
