Withing the frameworks of the project, the USAID will donate US$20 million to HUP members by 2008 for the promotion of development, exports and employment in small and medium-size enterprises.
The agreement was signed by HUP president Emil Tedeschi and the director of the USAID mission in Croatia, William Jeffers, who said this was the so-called farewell project of the USAID in Croatia, given that its mission ends in 2008.
Tedeschi thanked the USAID for the support.
US corporations DAI and Nathan Group will help the Croatian Employers Association to implement the Enterprising Croatia project.
