The two-day ceremonies, organised under the auspices of Israeli President Moshe Katzav, will pool the UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan and presidents of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia-Montenegro and Switzerland and Prime Ministers of France, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Romania.
Mesic is expected to have bilateral meetings with the hosts and other officials on the margins of this event.
The New Museum, which occupies over 4,200 square meters, mainly underground, consists of the Holocaust History Museum - and within it the Hall of Names - the Museum of Holocaust Art, and the Exhibitions Pavilion.
