Croatia thanks India for help after death of parliament speaker's son

ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and EuropeanIntegration Ministry on Wednesday thanked India's most seniorofficials, Foreign Ministry and ambassador to Zagreb on the attentionand care shown to Croatian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks after thedeath of his son in the Indian federal state of Goa.
ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry on Wednesday thanked India's most senior officials, Foreign Ministry and ambassador to Zagreb on the attention and care shown to Croatian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks after the death of his son in the Indian federal state of Goa.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh asked the Goa authorities to help Seks in every way during his stay in India on Monday and Tuesday, where he went to identify the body, the Croatian ministry said in a press release.

Indian Parliament Speaker Shri Somnath Chatterjee phoned Seks while he was in India and extended his condolences.

Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry in particular thanked Indian Ambassador Aneil Mathrani for helping Seks while he was in India.
