BELGRADE, Feb 28 (Hina) - A former Republika Srpska Army officer,General Radivoj Miletic, indicted for war crimes against Muslims inSrebrenica and Zepa by the International Criminal Tribunal for theformer Yugoslavia (ICTY), travelled
to The Hague on Monday.
BELGRADE, Feb 28 (Hina) - A former Republika Srpska Army officer,
General Radivoj Miletic, indicted for war crimes against Muslims in Srebrenica
and Zepa by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
(ICTY), travelled to The Hague on Monday.Miletic was accompanied by Serbian Justice Minister Zoran Loncar.
The Serbian government announced last Friday that Miletic decided to
voluntarily surrender to the Hague tribunal and added it would provide
guarantees for his provisional release pending trial.
The ICTY unsealed the indictment against Miletic and former Serbian Army
General Milan Gvero on February 24.
