ROME, Feb 22 (Hina) - Croatia has a great future also because of itscultural heritage, the Holy See Secretary of State, Cardinal AngeloSodano, said in the Vatican Museums on Tuesday evening at the openingof an exhibition on the August Shrine in the former Roman colony ofNarona called "Augusteum from Narona - Rome on the other side of theAdriatic".
ROME, Feb 22 (Hina) - Croatia has a great future also because of its cultural heritage, the Holy See Secretary of State, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, said in the Vatican Museums on Tuesday evening at the opening of an exhibition on the August Shrine in the former Roman colony of Narona called "Augusteum from Narona - Rome on the other side of the Adriatic".

"You have to enter the heart of Europe, because you already entered the heart of the Vatican," Sodano said.

He said he advised Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader this morning to travel to Brussels and attend talks on Croatia's joining the EU.

Sodano said he had visited Narona and saw excavations and expressed hope Croatia and the Vatican would cooperate in the future,

The event was opened by Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic. Also present were several cardinals and bishops.
