According to the Slovene media, Jansa said that the talks focused on Slovenia's presidency of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2005, the situation in Kosovo, European prospects of western Balkan countries and Slovene-Croatian relations.
Jansa said Slovenia supported the EU expansion to western Balkan countries, including Croatia, on condition that those countries meet the set criteria, such as cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the Slovene news agency STA reported.
"We expect Croatia to act in line with European standards in resolving outstanding issues with Slovenia," the agency cited Jansa as saying.
