ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation led by Assistant ForeignMinister Slavko Leban received assurances from the authorities ofSerbia and Montenegro at Monday's talks in Belgrade that the chargespressed against the authors of
a Croatian-language programme onTelevision Novi Sad would be dropped.
ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation led by Assistant
Foreign Minister Slavko Leban received assurances from the authorities of
Serbia and Montenegro at Monday's talks in Belgrade that the charges pressed
against the authors of a Croatian-language programme on Television Novi Sad
would be dropped.The charges against the author and the producer of the programme for the
local Croat community are expected to be dropped by the end of this week,
Leban said during a visit to Subotica where he met representatives of the
Croatian National Council in Serbia and Montenegro.
The Croatian delegation will tomorrow meet Catholic bishops from
parishes populated by Croats.
