Seks is in France to discuss Croatia's upcoming talks on European Union membership, reforms Croatia needs to make on the road to the Union, and Croatian-French relations.
Seks wrote in the visitor book, among other things, that Versailles was an expression of the creative European spirit which reminded all of the obligation to preserve the specific aspects of Europe's rich and strong legacy.
He also mentioned Croatian soldiers who were in the service of King Louis XIV, writing that with their early version of the cravat, they contributed to the elegance of the century of the Sun King.
Later today Seks is due to attend Question Time in the French Parliament and meet representatives of the most important political parties, as well as Patrick Bloch, president of the Croatian-French Friendship Group.
