mission, Peter Semneby, visited Hrvatska Kostajnica onTuesday.
HRVATSKA KOSTAJNICA, Jan 18 (Hina) - The ambassadors of Belgium and
France to Croatia, Marie-Johane Roccas and Francoise Saint-Paul, and the head
of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) mission,
Peter Semneby, visited Hrvatska Kostajnica on Tuesday.They met local authorities for talks on the reconstruction of
infrastructure destroyed or damaged during the 1991-1995 war, economic revival,
and living conditions in the area, about 100 kilometres southeast of Zagreb,
on the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The foreign officials praised great progress in the thorough
reconstruction of Hrvatska Kostajnica and the restoration of its pre-war urban
landmarks.
The talks also focused on the position of the Serb national minority and
settlers from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
