The burglary occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.
This is the second time in the last three months that the AIH office has been burglarised. In late October last year unidentified perpetrators stole around 920 euros from the office.
AIH representatives said in a statement today that the office which the city government gave them for use last year was in a very poor condition and that they lacked funds to repair it. The NGO called on citizens to help them with donations or support their appeal to the city government to give them an appropriate office.
