VUKOVAR, Jan 13 (Hina) - The mayor of the eastern town of Vukovar,
Vladimir Stengl, on Thursday received representatives of the Croatian-Swedish
consortium Tele2, which the Telecommunications Council granted a licence for
the third mobile network in late December, Stengl's office said in a press
release.Vukovar welcomes Tele2 representatives' decision to locate their centre
in the Vukovar area which guarantees 300 new jobs in the next two years, the
press release said.
The Telecommunications Agency Council granted Tele2 a 20-year licence.
Tele2 is expected to pay 172 million kuna for the licence in the first year and
one percent of annual revenue in the next 19.
