Croatia's stand at the fair registered a high number of visitors who wrote articles about Croatia in the US press.
National Geographic, one of the main media partners at the fair, last October presented the southern Adriatic island of Korcula on the cover of its special edition -- National Geographic Traveler -- listing it among the most important tourist destinations in the world.
