State Election Commission: turnout by 16:00 hrs about 40 percent

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - About 40 percent of voters went to the polls by 16:00 hrs Sunday in the run-off election for Croatia's president, which is two percent less than in the first round on January 2, the State Election Commission reported.

In the last presidential elections five years ago, over a half (51.7 percent) of voters had voted by 16:00 hrs.
