Autopsy reveals cop killer committed suicide

SPLIT, Jan 14 (Hina) - An autopsy of Stanko Bubic, the killer of policeofficer Ranko Grkovic, has revealed that he died of a gun shot woundto the head caused by a bullet fired from close proximity, whichpoints to suicide, forensic expert Antonio Alujevic said on Friday.
SPLIT, Jan 14 (Hina) - An autopsy of Stanko Bubic, the killer of police officer Ranko Grkovic, has revealed that he died of a gun shot wound to the head caused by a bullet fired from close proximity, which points to suicide, forensic expert Antonio Alujevic said on Friday.

The police in the coastal city of Split said that although the ballistic report is not available yet, the autopsy findings indicate that Bubic committed suicide after being wounded in a cross fire with the police.

Bubic killed Grkovic in Split at 2035 hours on Wednesday after the policeman asked for his ID.
