At its session, held behind closed doors, the committee endorsed the appointment of a former Istrian Democratic Party deputy and head of the Diplomatic Academy, Petar Turcinovic, for Croatia's first ambassador to Montenegro.
The committee also approved the appointment of Hina's director Mirko Bolfek for Croatia's ambassador to Algeria. The candidacy of a former administration minister and Supreme Court President, Marjan Ramuscak, for Croatia's ambassador to Prague was also greenlighted.
The committe supported the appointment of the present head of the consular division of the Croatian embassy in Washington, Hrvoje Petrusic, for Croatia's consul to Australia with headquarters in Perth.
