OTOK, Dec 2 (Hina) - The 15th anniversary of the death of the first Croatian aviators and paratroopers in the Homeland Defence War - Marko Zivkovic, Mirko Vukusic, Anto Plazibat and Rade Griva - was commemorated in the eastern town of
Otok on Saturday.
OTOK, Dec 2 (Hina) - The 15th anniversary of the death of the
first Croatian aviators and paratroopers in the Homeland Defence War - Marko
Zivkovic, Mirko Vukusic, Anto Plazibat and Rade Griva - was commemorated in the
eastern town of Otok on Saturday. The four men were killed in the
night between 1st and 2nd December 1991 when their plane "Antonov 2" was shot
down by Serb rebels, supported by the Yugoslav People's Army, near Otok.
The 15th anniversary was marked by wreath-laying ceremonies and
religious services.
