The head of the local commission for missing persons in Tuzla, Murat Hurtic, said that the mass grave with 87 whole skeletons and the remains of another 113 persons was located near the village of Gorice outside Brcko.
Gunshot wounds were found on a large number of the bodies and it is believed that the victims were Croats and Muslims killed by Serb forces at the beginning of the war in 1992.
Forensic experts will continue the exhumation and it is believed that the final number of victims will be much higher.
