Lucic said that the provisions governing the election of members of the Electronic Media Council should be changed because under the present rules the Council is elected by a political party in power, with political principles taking precedence over professional ones.
He also highlighted the need to amend the Hina Act following problems that had arisen in electing the agency's Governing Board, and the need to pass a separate law on Vjesnik to resolve the legal status of the newspaper publisher.
