ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - Croatia's exports in the first nine months of this year totalled 43.3 billion kuna (i.e. approximately 7.4 billion U.S. dollars), while imports came to 92.3 billion kuna (USD 15.7 billion), according to
preliminary figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
ZAGREB, Oct 31 (Hina) - Croatia's exports in the first nine months
of this year totalled 43.3 billion kuna (i.e. approximately 7.4 billion U.S.
dollars), while imports came to 92.3 billion kuna (USD 15.7 billion), according
to preliminary figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics. The export growth rate was equalised with the import growth rate, and it
was 14.2 percent in the first nine months of 2006 in comparison to the
January-September period of 2005.
The trade deficit, expressed in the dollar, came to 8.36 billion.
The Bureau put the export/import ratio at a low 46.9 percent.
