We are ready to resume the negotiations practically the same day Serbia meets the condition of full cooperation with the Hague tribunal, but unfortunately, there is no breaking news in this respect and the negotiations remain on hold, Rehn told the press after a meeting between the EU Troika and a Serbian delegation led by Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica.
Apart from cooperation with the UN court, the meeting addressed Serbia's new constitution and negotiations on Kosovo's final status.
Asked by the press if the constitution's preamble, stating that Kosovo is a part of Serbia, was binding, Kostunica answered in the affirmative. "In the preamble we reiterated what is written in international legal acts, the UN Resolution and the Helsinki Final Act," he said.
