ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - Croatian free-lance journalist Domagoj Margetic pleaded not guilty to contempt of court charges at his initial appearance before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague on Friday.

Margetic is charged with disclosing the names of 102 protected witnesses on his personal website (www.domagojmargetic.com) from July 7 to August 2 this year. All the witnesses testified in the case against Bosnian Croat wartime military commander Tihomir Blaskic.

The presiding judge said that the trial would take place in mid-November and that it would last only one day, when both the prosecution and the defence would present their cases.

If found guilty, Margetic faces a prison sentence of up to seven years or a fine not exceeding 100,000 euros.
