The Hoegh Delhi has 13 decks, of which two are adaptable, and a parking area of nearly 59,000 square metres.
The Hoegh Delhi is the first of two identical ships Uljanik is building for P.D. Gram & Co. from Oslo. The ship is 199 metres long, 32 metres wide, has a deadweight of 16,700 tonnes and can sail at 20.8 knots.
A contract for the ship was signed in November 2003 and a keel was laid in April this year.
After the launching of the Hoegh Delhi, a keel was laid for the next carrier for the transfer of 7,000 cars for the Viking Car Carrier company.
