Bosnian Election Commission confirms Komsic's victory at general elections

SARAJEVO, Oct 2 (Hina) - Zeljko Komsic of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia-Herzegovina is the electoral winner for the Croat member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina collective presidency, the Central Election Commission in Bosnia-Herzegovina (SIP) confirmed on Monday evening.
SARAJEVO, Oct 2 (Hina) - Zeljko Komsic of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia-Herzegovina is the electoral winner for the Croat member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina collective presidency, the Central Election Commission in Bosnia-Herzegovina (SIP) confirmed on Monday evening.

According to complete voting results, Komsic won 97,267 votes which is 40.83 percent of the Croat electorate.

Ivo Miro Jovic of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) won 59,831 votes or 25.11 percent. The third candidate, Bozo Ljubic, who comes from the ranks of the Croatian Democratic Union 1990, won 42,424 votes or 17.81 percent.

SIP also said that Haris Silajdzic won in the race for the Bosniak member of the collective presidency with 288,000 votes or 62.1 percent, while his main rival Sulejman Tihic won 130,000 votes or 28 percent.

The new Serb member of the Bosnian Presidency Nebojsa Radmanovic wom 54.8 percent of the votes of the voters registered in Republika Srpska.
