The lawmakers -- 242 of them present at the session -- unanimously voted in favor of the constitution, that will replace the current one drafted in 1990 by late former autocratic leader Slobodan Milosevic. The new constitution also needs a yes-vote on a national referendum before it becomes valid. Over a half of the registered voters must vote at the referendum for it to be valid. The referendum will take place on on October 28-29.
