ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - The humanitarian Terry Fox Run, which raises money for cancer research, was held at Zagreb's Jarun lake on Sunday, raising more than 530,000 kuna for the children's oncology department at Sisters of Mercy
hospital.

raises money for cancer research, was held at Zagreb's Jarun lake on Sunday,
raising more than 530,000 kuna for the children's oncology department at
Sisters of Mercy hospital. The Zagreb event, which saw several
thousand people running, was held under the auspices of President Stjepan
Mesic's wife Milka and Health Minister Neven Ljubicic. It was organised by the
Canadian Embassy and the Croatian League Against Cancer, among others.
Numerous public figures and politicians were in attendance and some
also took part in the run.
