After receiving credentials from Dutch Ambassador Catharine Marie Trooster, Mesic said Croatia appreciated the Dutch support in the adoption of European standards and the commitment to the rule of law.
Croatia and the Netherlands have a common goal, to see Croatia enter the European Union family as a full member as soon as the challenging accession process is over, said Trooster.
German Ambassador Hans Jochen Peter said his country had always supported Croatia's Euro-Atlantic integration and appreciated Croatia's positive role in the stabilisation of Southeast Europe in recent years.
The Vienna-based Estonian Ambassador Miko Haljas said his country was trying to help Croatia achieve its goals and had ratified the draft European constitution, among other things to pave the way for the accession of new EU member states.
