Galovic told Hina on Sunday that he had not yet been formally notified of the apprehension but that he had received unofficial information that the 47-year-old Radjen had been arrested on Friday by the Greek police in Thessaloniki on a basis of a warrant which the Zadar police issued for Radjen's arrest.
In 2001, Zadar authorities initiated an investigation against Radjen from the nearby town of Benkovac on suspicion he had committed war crimes in Skabrnja and Nadin in 1991 when he was a member of the Serb rebel forces.
According to the Croatian press, Radjen now lives in Greece where he works as an assistant coach in the Aris basketball club.
