The number of cruising voyages by foreign vessels in Croatia rose by 26.1 percent to 280 and the number of passenger on board them increased by 14.3 percent in comparison to the January-July period of 2005.
This July saw 90 foreign cruisers on voyages in Croatia, with a total of 96,476 passengers.
The southern Adriatic resort of Dubrovnik was the top destination with 234 foreign vessels having visited it on their voyages on the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea in the first seven months of 2006.
Korcula on the island of Korcula was ranked as the second with 65 cruisers. It was followed by Split (25), Zadar (22) and Rijeka, Pula, Hvar and Ploce each with 13 foreign cruisers having visited them on their voyage in Croatia in the said period.
