JELSA, Aug 14 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Monday attended a session of the Jelsa Municipal Council on the southern Croatian island of Hvar, held on the occasion of Municipality Day and the Feast of the Assumption of
the Blessed Virgin Mary.

attended a session of the Jelsa Municipal Council on the southern Croatian
island of Hvar, held on the occasion of Municipality Day and the Feast of the
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Addressing the present, Mesic
said Croatia did not need elite tourism, but quality tourism.
The session was also attended by Croatian Health and Social Welfare
Minister Neven Ljubicic, Parliament Deputy Speaker Vesna Pusic, as well as
representatives of almost all ministries and several parliamentary deputies.
