The two ministers discussed Croatia's progress towards NATO membership, the reform of the Croatian armed forces, participation in international peacekeeping operations, and the political and security situation in Southeast Europe. They both expressed their satisfaction with bilateral defence cooperation.
Roncevic thanked the Netherlands for a series of training courses for Croatian military personnel.
Kamp expressed support for Croatia's aspirations to join NATO and the European Union, saying that Croatia set an example to other countries in the region and that its individual merits should be taken into account when deciding on its membership bids.
